The Challenge?
Orange Park, Florida sits on the outskirts of Jacksonville, a major metropolitan area. Not only is there immense competition in the HVAC industry, but the hot Florida climate means there’s a constant need for AC repair, service, and replacements. We wanted to make sure that Von’s Heating and Air showed up for local searches for anything related to heat or air conditioning in the area and outranked other competitors, many of which being major corporations with large marketing budgets.
The Solution
The first step from Dabaran was keyword research. Or goal was to target users both at the top and the bottom of the funnel. After creating successful target keyword strategy, we implement on-page optimizations, including updating title tags, meta tags, and improving keyword density in content. But because so many HVAC companies in the area were ranking for similar keywords, our main focus was a vigorous off-site link-building campaign designed to increase Von’s domain authority. Even if competitors used the same exact keywords, the higher domain authority would give us the advantage in the SERPs.
